Plummeting sales shocked EB into the computer age. Safra is determined to take the encyclopedia with the distinguished name into the next millenium. The last 400 of the sales force was laid off and money channeled into two products Britannica On Line (BOL) and a CD-ROM product. Future plans are discussed.

Autry, who might have been a Heisman Trophy winner if he had continued to play football for Northwestern University, joined the Chicago Bears because of his lifelong dream to play professional football. He felt he had accomplished all he could in college.

Brown made money by illegally selling to collectors old documents and memorabilia which he found in old county courthouses. He had been hired to research and rescue the documents from Lincoln's law practice in Springfield, Illinois.
