Article Abstract:
The giant yellowfin tuna and Wahoo waiting just a mile off the Louisiana Delta during late fall and winter are in plenty and the Delta to the west and back to the east makes for a more comfortable ride. The platforms attract sea life of all type such as redfish, snapper, grouper, kingfish and jacks which prey on baitfish schools that congregate around the shallow platforms, when the rigs close to blue water serve as hunting ground for blue marlin, yellowfin tuna, Wahoo and mako shark.
