The National Rifle Association (NRA) deplores Handgun Control Inc (HCI)'s study which criticized the teaching of the Second Amendment in schools and in textbooks. NRA accuses HCI of planning to manipulate schools towards HCI's anti-gun educational program.

A list of pro-gun political challengers to the Congressional elections is provided. Pro-gun political race types used by the National Rifle Association include anti-gun incumbent challengers, 'open'-seat challengers and pro-gun incumbents.

Open seat opportunities for gun owners
Article Abstract:
There will be an expected 82 open house seats in the House of Representatives come election time in Nov 3, 1992. Gun owners are encouraged to vote for pro-gun candidates to influence the comparatively balanced electoral situation.
