Sometimes traveling to those areas that are forbidden is a rewarding experience. Areas not recommended for travel have included Berlin, South Africa and China. Boycotts for political reasons can effect travel plans, as can diplomatic difficulties.

The sum of all fears
Article Abstract:
While some people stay home because they fear the unknown, other people travel because they say there would be no triumph if one did not face the unknown. The suspense and tension of facing the unknown makes traveling worthwhile.
