The imperial state portraits of czars Alexander II (1818-81) and Nicholas I (1796-1855) given by the subjects to Charles William Stewart, the third marquis of Londonderry, and his son George Henry, are being sold by Paris art dealer Ariane Dandois for about $450,000.

Royal dish

The Worcester soup tureen, part of the Hope service, has been made available at Hyde Park Antiques for $26,000. The history of the porcelain dish can be traced to the days when it was in the family of Great Britain's King William IV.

Sevres saga

A Sevres vase is for sale at Dalva Brothers Inc for $250,000. The vase was first purchased by Count Stanislas Potocki around 1780. It was untraced for about 100 years and then bought by English art dealer Joseph Duveen in about 1900.
