The history of a unique American combat arm, shot gun, and also its features, uses and the need for accessories for its use is illustrated. It also states that the procurement of shotguns specifically for combat use by the U.S military was done in the 20th century as it was recognized that they possessed much potential for both offensive and defensive trench warfare.

Interstate Arms Model 97 shotguns
Article Abstract:
The popularity of Cowboy action shooting and the change in taste and perception has brought Winchester Model 1987 shotgun back in picture. Interstate Arms has come up with its Chinese made Model 97, which is the copy of the original but differs in features and its parts can't be interchanged with the old model.

Spanish gun makers have produce some of the finest 'best' quality shotguns in the world. Grulla Armas has become one of the largest of the Spanish gunmakers and they made Royal model in the year 1990, which was a very successful model in the history of gunmaking in Spain.
