Giving donations to charities can make both the giver and the receiver happy. Nonprofit agencies can make use of any old item that is still in good working condition, such as used cars, computers, toys and clothing. A list of some of the agencies that receive donations all-year round is given.

Foods that help prevent cancer

The risk of acquiring cancer can be lessened by consuming fruits, vegetables, soy foods, high-fiber grains, and beans. Other helpful foods are parsley, rosemary, basil, turmeric and cumin. A list of food groups and their relationship to cancer is presented.
