Gotcha! Hit by a new traveler's tax

The latest in air travel tax, or 'passenger facility charges,' as such taxes are called, will be a departure tax on domestic air travel. The tax will be imposed starting in the summer of 1992 and become more widespread as all airports gear up to collect the tax.

Boeing Co and European aerospace companies need to build the VLCTs with passenger comfort in mind. This includes only aisle and window seats with leg-stretching space. Lounges, showers and workout rooms should be added to break up the boredom of long flights.
