Valery Gergiev, the artistic and general director of the St. Petersburg Marinsky theater has learnt to manage his time so well that he manages to fit-in two days work in 24-hours, and hence many feel that it is this trait that has made him successful. The super successful conductor conducts about 450 shows in a year and the musician who never travels without his instruments finds time to espouse civic causes as well.
