The Hodgdon Titewad Powder is intended for 12-gauge 2 3/4" hulls and only behind payload weights of 7/8, 1 and 1 1/8 ozs. Titewad meters superbly which is important for shotgun powders. The latter perform consistently in terms of pressure and velocity as the variation in charge weight becomes smaller.

The status of non-toxic shotshells

Five kinds of non-toxic shotshells for waterfowl shotguns are presented and differentiated. These are steel, which is disadvantaged by low density and excessive hardness, bismuth with tin to decrease its frangibility, tungsten-iron, tungsten-polymer and tungsten-matrix.
