Famed American playwright Eugene O'Neill's house in California's San Ramon Valley is a peaceful and relaxing place that allowed the late author to produce his finest body of work. The Tao House, aptly named for its Oriental architecture, was declared a National Historic Site in 1976.

The Rajvilas is a new hotel in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. All of the hotel's buildings are made with lime plaster, hand-carved stone and marble and constructed through traditional methods. It is based on a 16th-century Rajasthani fort similar to the house of the hotel owner.
