Article Abstract:
The .44 and .357 caliber Auto Mag handguns were developed by Harry Sanford in 1971. The Auto Mag was the first semi-automatic magnum and all-stainless production gun. About 9,500 Auto Mags were made by different manufacturers and in different variations from 1971 to 1982.
