United States Attorney General, John Ashcroft issued a policy statement stating that the Second Amendment protects an individual right to keep and bear arms, in a letter to NRA-Institute for Legislative Action Executive Director James Jay Baker. In his letter, he backed up his words with quotes from the Founding Fathers and made specific references to the growing body of both liberal and conservative scholarship in support of the Second Amendment.

Bill Clinton's ban is debunked once again
Article Abstract:
The Congress made compulsory that the federal 'assault weapon' that law should be studied for its impact and gun control advocates hoped that the research would justify extension of the law before its expiry date. The research shows that the law should not be extended and it should have never been imposed.
