Japanese toy manufacturer Bandai produces a line of action figures and robot kits which were inspired by the 1979 movie 'Mobile Suit Gundam', in which human-powered giant robotic 'suits' defend Earth from an attack by a rebel space colony. Bandai has produced almost 1,000 different Gundams and the company boasts international sales of over 400 million units. The kits cost around $16.50 each.

There is a plan to relocate Grundy from the east bank of the Levisa Fork river to the higher ground of the Appalachian slopes. Periodic river floods have destroyed the town three times since 1937, but residents are so far reluctant to relocate their town.
