Loading an all-time great cartridge, the .270 Winchester
Article Abstract:
Loading the .270 Winchester cartridge for large game hunting is best achieved by using slow-burning powders, such as the IMR 4350 or the Hodgdon H4831, for 130 gr. to 160 gr. bullets. The best bullet load for the cartridge is the Winchester Fail Safe, which at 140-gr., offers superb accuracy.
