Notes from the end of time: Simon Paneak's drawings keep alive the collective knowledge of Alaska's nomadic people
Article Abstract:
Simon Paneak was a member of the nearly extinct Nunamiut Eskimos of the tundra who worked with anthropologist John Martin Campbell in the 1960s. Paneak created drawings and texts which narrated the social aspects of tribal life including stories, clothing, and food.

My heart on the Yukon River
Article Abstract:
Two photographers travelling the Yukon River were able to gather photographs depicting the variety of people living along the Yukon River. The two photographers travelled 1,800 miles by canoe and were able to photograph 85 people in all about 100 days.
