Tastes in wines are constantly changing, at one time Merlot was considered to be big but presently it is seen as a low class wine. Prestigious red wines contain a fair amount of Merlot, if one is interested in quality than fashion Merlot should not be overlooked.

No cork screw required
Article Abstract:
Winemakers are packaging wine bottles with twist-off screw caps, as cork caps smell like wet cardboard. In Australia and New Zealand, screw caps are being used but in Europe, producers of wine are hardly using screw caps.
