Michigan has many beautiful trails like the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, Nordhouse Dunes Wilderness Area, South Manitou Island and Sleeping Dunes National Lakeshore, which can be used for hiking purposes. At Sleeping Bear Dunes, there is an undeveloped beach that borders Manitou Passage, where one can view dozens of shipwrecks.
