Harry Kraemer, who was the CEO of Baxter International, resigned and made way for the new chairman and CEO, Robert Parkinson, as he was not able to meet the targets set for the company. Harry Kraemer, a great communicator, was also known for developing a worker-friendly culture in the company but the new CEO may have to dispense with this culture in order to improve the earnings, regain the credibility with the investors and foil a takeover bid.
