The T.S. Wallin house, at Dearborn and Schiller Streets, in Chicago, IL, has been under renovation for so long, since 1983, that neighbors are beginning to get mad. Some say the owner, financier Richard Driehaus, keeps changing his mind on the plans. The house was built in 1877 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Some wonder if its new owner will ever more in.
