The Remington-Alberta Carriage Centre has preserved the heritage of the once vast North American carriage industry. The center displays many vintage and reproduction horse-carriages, from working-class utility wagons to luxury vehicles of New York's upper class. Carriage rides are offered.

A Utah native describes the state's history by revisiting a few of the historical landmarks. The traveler initiates the 90 mile journey in This Is The Place State Park, outside of Salt Lake City, and continues north to Logan. On the way she stops in Huntsville and Brigham City.

Along the Cabot trail

A drive around the Cabot Trail, a 134 mile road encircling Cape Breton Island, is described. Parts of the island have Scottish roots, while others have French Acadian ancestry. A list of restaurants, inns and sites is presented.
