Airport security has been considerably tightened after the terrorist acts of Sep 11, 2001, but it is still not as tight as security at El Al airline facilities. More than 95% of travelers support more stringent methods, including thorough inspection of baggage and the presence of armed guards. Other recommendations, including better training for workers, are examined.
