Information is presented about the .480 Ruger revolver. Compared to the .50 Action Express, the .480 Ruger bullet is .025" smaller in diameter and travels at 87 feet per second slower, and compared to the .445 Super Mag as chambered in Dan Wesson revolvers, the highest pressure loaded in the Ruger is 4300 p.s.i. more.
