Simon bill would shut down firearms dealers' businesses
Article Abstract:
Senators led by Paul Simon have filed the Gun Dealer Licensing Reform Act which would increase firearms dealership fees by 75 times its current amount. The bill is expected to adversely affect up to 184,000 of the country's 276,000 licensed dealers.

D.C. law makes innocent pay for crime

The District of Columbia Liability Act holds firearms manufacturers liable for direct and indirect damages caused by the use of their products, regardless of whether the product was defective or not. The flaws of this statute are discussed.
