A young man recounts his rafting trip on the San Juan River in southeastern Utah. Together with seven others, the man travelled down 43 miles of the river from Montezuma Creek to Mexican Hat. The trip, which normally takes four days, was extended to six days to allow the travelers to do a little exploring ashore.
