The changes that have taken place in Mexico City over they years is described. Earlier, Mexico City was not very clean, had high levels of pollution and the food available may not be healthy unless it was deep-fried but today, Mexico City is clean and has many good restaurants and hotels and at the same time changes were also observed in its political environment.

The spirit of Rome is changing towards modernization and it could be seen from Vatican's millennial year Grand Jubilee, which was expected to attract about thirty million pilgrims and tourists. The most happening place in the city is Ostiense where every week a new cafe, club, or restaurant opens up in the industrial-turned-residential district.
