This tuna record just keeps getting older
Article Abstract:
The long-range lingo, a super-sized yellowfin tuna is sometimes called a "gorilla' and has proven to be a virtually insurmountable achievement. To break the Wisenhutter's gorilla record, shorter, high-lever-age, roller-guide rods that are too long, reels too slow, and "stand-up" fishing is not a refined technique. The real challenge faced by anyone hoping to beat Wisenhutter's long-standing record was simply the age sizes at which these fish max out.
