What will last?

When we go into the past we see only what has survived, as documents are destroyed or lost, buildings crumble and works of art disappear. Architecture survives as the modern cities, like the pyramids, are guaranteed to last a long time. The accomplishments like, moon landing, the unraveling of DNA, information technology and the study of complex systems in science would matter in 500 years.
