World's Best Service Survey results: readers tell which hotels go that extra mile
Article Abstract:
Results of an evaluation of services offered by The Mansion Hotel on Turtle Creek, Dallas, TX, and a national hotel chain are presented. The Mansion bested the latter on all the tests that both were subjected. It is also rated as the second-best hotel in the world next to Hotel Ritz in Paris in terms of service.

A silver-platter survey: the most attentive places on the planet

Hotels often afford the traveler excellent personal services. Some of the leading hotels for customer service are The Oriental Hotel in Bangkok, The Peninsula in Hongkong, Halekulani in Honolulu, and Hotel Ritz in Paris. Lists give the top 10 for service, and the top five by region.
