2020: A proposal
Article Abstract:
A growing volume of scientific evidence indicates that given the present trends in global warming, the combustion of fossil fuels, deforestation, and poor land-use practices will cause a major reinforcing shift in global climate. Every school, college, and university in the U.S. should stand up and be counted on the issue of climatic change by developing plans to reduce and eventually eliminate or offset the emission of heat-trapping gases by the year 2020.

The architecture of science
Article Abstract:
Architecture may have a significant impact on the ethics of science by separating humanity from nature. Buildings create estrangement between the human mind and that which it is studying, removing researchers from direct engagement with their subject and dulling the perception of consequences. This estrangement develops an artificial relationship between humanity and nature.
