Tatyana Pavlova has been a Russian vegetarian and animal activist for 26 years. She was president of the Vegetarian Society in Russia and is director of the first Russian animal rights society called the Center for the Ethical Treatment of Animals.

Matt and Mary Kelly made the family-owned Brodie Mountain Ski Resort a center of the vegan and animal protection movement through the events they organized at the resort. They hope to continue their efforts even though the resort has been sold.
