A one-hit model of cell death in inherited neuronal degenerations
Article Abstract:
Research is presented concerning the genetic disorders which are linked with neuronal death which is premature. Mathematical models are used to predict the cell death for Parkinson's and Huntington's diseases and cerebellar degeneration in mice.

New memories from new neurons
Article Abstract:
Issues are presented concerning the new nerve cells which are created in the hippocampus of the brain of adult rats throughout its life. The involvement of these nerve cells in memory formation is discussed.
