Biting the bullet: in search of South America's giant ant
Article Abstract:
Research presented concerns the behavior, biology, and habitat of the South American bullet ant or 'Paraponera clavata.' The bullet ant lives in the tropical rain forests of the Amazon, has a poisonous sting, and is one of the largest ants in the world.
