Two levels of protection for the B cell genome during somatic hypermutation
Article Abstract:
The extensive sequencing of the murine B cell genes is employed to explain the two mechanisms involved in the protection of the genome by somatic hypermutation. The findings reveal that the ultimate distribution of the mutations is highly determined by the balance between high-fidelity and error-prone DNA repair.

Roquin represses autoimmunity by limiting inducible T-cell co-stimulator messenger RNA
Article Abstract:
The discovery of new pathway that prevents autoimmunity by limiting the levels of T lymphocytes of a co-stimulatory receptor, the inducible T-cell co-stimulator (ICOS) is described.
