Coherent transport of electron spin in a ferromagnetically contacted carbon nanotube
Article Abstract:
The injection of spin-polarized electrons from ferromagnetic contacts into multi-walled carbon nanotubes provides direct evidence for the coherent transport of electron spins. A hysteretic magnetoresistance is observed in several nanotubes, and it is estimated that the spin-flip scattering length is at leas 130 nm.

Super spin in the southern seas
Article Abstract:
The historical data and the new density profile showed that the southern and the northern oceans are connected on a global scale. The southern ocean is one of the critical regions for climate research that can now be studied through the internet.

A new spin on magnetometry
Article Abstract:
The features and measurement techniques of a new type of atomic magnetometer, which is used to achieve unparallel sensitivity to small magnetic fields, are presented. This magnetometer uses vapors of alkali atoms with a single unpaired electron.
