Comparison of horn growth in captive and free-ranging Dall's rams
Article Abstract:
Little research has been undertaken into the effects of range characteristics on populations of Dall's sheep, although past studies have failed to show the importance of nutrition. A study of captive and free-ranging herds of Dall's sheep is designed to compare the differences in the horn growth of rams. The study shows that the horns of captive rams were significantly larger and longer than their wild counterparts. It is suggested that improved nutrition modifies horn growth.

Comparison of the Hanbury Brown-Twiss effect for bosons and fermions
Article Abstract:
The fermionic and bosonic Hanbury Brown and Twiss effects in the same apparatus is compared by using two different isotopes of helium, [super 3]He (a fermion) and [super 4]He (a boson). The results have shown how atom-atom correlation measurements can be used to reveal the details in the spatial density or momentum correlations in an atomic ensemble.
