Conclusions: Promoting biotechnology innovation in developing countries
Article Abstract:
Several factors that encourage successful development, and several common challenges that countries share in continuing and sustaining development of healthcare biotechnology are identified. The various lessons learned including ways to promote health biotechnology in developing countries such as political will, individual leadership, close linkages, enterprise creation and intellectual property are highlighted.
