Damage to Cauliflower Coral by Monofilament Fishing Lines in Hawaii
Article Abstract:
Findings show that monofilament fishing lines entangle in coral and negatively affect survival and health of Pocillopora meandrina colonies growing in the Hawaiian islands. Implications for tourism policy development are discussed.
