Conservation biology: The diversity of biodiversity
Article Abstract:
The flora of the Cape of South Africa is used to show how an evolutionary approach to plant conservation has led to interesting choices among conservation areas. The analysis of the conservation of biodiversity has shown that the issue of national interest and shared conservation responsibility is not unique to plants or to South Africa.
