Article Abstract:

A report on several prominent cloning researchers who have found themselves in dispute over who should take credit for major discoveries which resulted in bruised egos, damaged careers and court cases is presented. One way to avoid ambiguity is for each author to spell out their contribution in the paper and to discuss authorship when collaboration begins.

Early embryos fuel hopes for shortcut to stem-cell creation

Article Abstract:

Human embryonic stem cells from an embryo, younger than any used before, was grown by fertility researchers in an attempt to boost the production of stem cells for medical research. The new technique is quicker and simpler and could boost the success rate for making embryonic stem-cell lines, which are short in supply.
