Database of molecular probes set to boost chemical genetics
Article Abstract:
The US National Cancer Institute is drawing up plans for a 'ChemBank' open-access database that would connect proteins to their role in cells and indicate their impact on entire organisms. The first stage in this plan will be the creation later in 2001 of dedicated 'molecular targeting laboratories.'
