The 1918 flu virus is resurrected
Article Abstract:
An analysis of the full genome sequence of the 1918 human influenza virus and the way researchers used that sequence to recreate the virus and study its effects in mice are described. The full sequence provides strong evidence that the 1918 flu virus is derived wholly from an ancestor that originally infected birds.

The Internet research engine company Google announces plan to make millions of books available online which turns the tide for efforts to digitalize the world's literature. The launch of both e-books and real books can be an answer to this since science can move incredibly fast and is not a complete waste of money.
