From science in art to the art of science
Article Abstract:
The relationship between art and science, where neither art nor science are homogenous categories, is described. Science ranges from the observed complexities of environmental biology to the unseeable dimensions of theoretical physics and art extends from the figurative representation of nature to the elusive abstractions of conceptual art.

Stamping his authority

The repercussions of the falsification of stem-cell research by Korean scientist Woo Suk Hwang are going to reverberate around the scientific community for years to come. Korea Post issued a postage stamp in Hwang's honor on 12 February 2005 specially to commemorate 'the successful establishment of human cloned embryonic stem cells'.
