Diets of introduced predators using stable isotopes and stomach contents
Article Abstract:
The diets of introduced predators like nonnative red foxes and feral cats in South San Francisco Bay, U.S.A. were examined by analyzing their stomach contents and stable isotopes of carbon and nitrogen. It revealed their commonly consumed prey and their impact on the native species.

An underwater photographer comes face-to-face with a beautiful spotted eagle ray while diving off the coast of Belize. It was close enough for the diver to see the peculiar duck-like snout and mouth that the eagle ray uses for plowing through the sand in search of food.
