Earth-mass dark-matter haloes as the first structures in the early Universe
Article Abstract:
Supercomputer simulations of the concordance cosmological model, which assumes neutralino dark matter, are reported and it is found that the first objects to form are numerous Earth-mass dark-matter haloes about as large as the Solar System. They are found to be stable against gravitational disruption, even within the central regions of the Milky Way.

A breath of solar air
Article Abstract:
The abundance of different isotopes of oxygen provides clues to the origin of matter in the Solar System. The oxygen isotopic anomalies in Solar System materials were thought to be due to varying mixtures of presolar matter that gained their oxygen isotopic heterogeneity by nucleosynthesis in different kinds of stars.
