Expression and silencing coupled
Article Abstract:
The RNA interference pathway can inhibit the expression of specific genes and it seems that an essential component of the silencing process is the gene-expression machinery itself. One of the main functions of the RNA interference system is probably to suppress expression of the repetitive elements that parasitize eukaryotic genomes.

MicroRNA control of nodal signalling
Article Abstract:
The analysis describes various microRNAs, which act as the modulators of gene expression and also help in controlling the nodal signalling. These compounds can also be then used for regulating the early embryonic patterning in various signalling cascades.

Article Abstract:
The new technique for inhibiting gene expression, which could be a very powerful and versatile tool to treat human disease, is demonstrated through small interfering RNA (siRNA) delivery to a notoriously difficult organ.
