Article Abstract:
The technological progress made by Chicago, which makes it the first city for physics in the US, is discussed. The Tevatron, the world's most powerful particle accelerator that accelerates subatomic particles towards each other, smashes them and records the aftermath, would help the scientist to understand the fundamental nature of matter and the origins of the Universe.
