Forming galaxies spotted?
Article Abstract:
The discovery of primordial galaxies by a group of astronomers using the imaging systems of the Hubble Space Telescope is reported. The forming galaxies were found when the astronomers were studying another cluster of galaxies. The discovery is significant because it would allow the study of when and how galaxies are formed. Such studies have been hampered by lack of consensus among astronomers about the epoch of formation and the way forming galaxies would look like.

Dark matter maps reveal cosmic scaffolding
Article Abstract:
The high-fidelity maps observed from the Hubble Space Telescope (HST) of the large-scale distribution of dark matter resolved in both angle and depth is presented. The results are consistent with predictions of gravitationally induced structure formation in which the initial smooth distribution of dark matter collapses into filaments then into clusters forming a gravitational scaffold into which gas could accumulate and stars could be built.

Dim view of past clashes
Article Abstract:
Various new studies are being conducted to explain the formation of various giant low-surface-brightness galaxies from the violent cosmic encounters. The analysis proves that the Universe was built up from the small particles.
