Gadd45a promotes epigenetic gene activated by repair-mediated DNA demethylation
Article Abstract:
The Gadd45a (growth arrest and DNA-damage-inducible protein 45 alpha) is found to promote active DNA methylation. The results have shown that Gadd45a relieves epigenetic gene silencing by promoting DNA repair, which has erased the methylation marks.

Dscam2 mediates axonal tiling in the Drosophila visual system
Article Abstract:
The immunoglobulin superfamily member Dscam2 mediates the axagonal tiling in the Drosophila visual system by restricting all the connections formed by L1 lamina neurons to its columns.
