Generation of ultraviolet entangled photons in a semiconductor
Article Abstract:
The experimental evidence for the generation of ultraviolet entangled photon pairs by means of biexciton resonant RHPS in a single crystal of the semiconductor CuCI are reported. The results will provide way to the generation of entagled photons by current injection, analogues to current-driven single photon sources.

Article Abstract:
Interference patterns that would normally be associated with a wavelength much smaller than that of the individual photons, beating the diffraction limit is created by conspiring entangled photons. The study discussed, provides two schemes, which proves that the diffraction limit can be beaten.

Continuous generation of single photons with controlled waveform in an ion-trap cavity system
Article Abstract:
A single-photon source based on strongly localized single ion optical cavity is demonstrated. The ion is optimally coupled to a well-defined field mode that results in a generation of single-photon pulses with precisely defined shape and timing.
